Mahnaz Lee
Mahnaz has dedicated over 3 decades to contributing to her family’s business. As part of a small team with her husband, she played an important role in establishing Lee Kum Kee USA branch beginning in 1982, with her background in marketing, advertising, and corporate management to help grow the brand in the American market.
Throughout her career, Mahnaz has held several key advisory roles, including serving as a board advisor to the Lee Kum Kee Family Foundation, a member of the Hong Kong Ballet Guild, and a founding member of JES Network. From 2004 to 2008, she also served on the board of The Huntington Library, where she was instrumental in fundraising and promoting the Chinese Garden Project through the “Friendship Fund Committee”.
In 2010, Mahnaz founded Women Helping Women Hong Kong (WHWHK), a nonprofit charitable organization committed to supporting women facing domestic violence and abuse. Under her leadership, WHWHK provided education, therapy, and vital resources to underserved communities. The organization was recognized as a Caring Organization by the Hong Kong Council of Social Services for seven consecutive years.
Mahnaz’s impactful work has earned widespread recognition, including the Inspiring Women Award (2015) from Marie Claire Magazine, the Most Successful Women of the Year (2016) from Jessica Magazine, and the Women of Hope – Champion for a Better Life (2017) from Hong Kong Adventist Hospital Foundation. As well as included in numerous articles in Hong Kong Tatler magazine about her initiatives and charitable efforts.
Beyond contributing to their family business and philanthropic work Mahnaz have dedicated significant time to personal development training, earning several certifications to deepen her understanding in leadership, health & wellness and communication. Her training includes programs from The Centre for Effective Leadership – Right Management Hong Kong, Life Academy Los Angeles, Landmark Forum San Francisco, and Institute for Integrative Nutrition New York. These programs have empowered her to lead her life with greater self-awareness, purpose and impact in both personal and professional life.
As a global citizen, Mahnaz nurtures meaningful relationships with family and friends, and prioritizes self-care and continuous online learning. She also enjoyed painting in her free time. She actively engages in philanthropy and is passionate about contributing to organizations that foster meaningful and lasting impact. She is committed to initiatives that strengthen communities, and enrich lives through education, service, and the arts to build a more compassionate and vibrant society.
