Nancy Isaacs Tenzer
Nancy Isaacs Tenzer is a Los Angeles-based interior designer working on residential projects nationwide. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she brings a lifelong connection to the city together with a deep appreciation for history, architecture, and the arts. Nancy is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned a degree in the History of Art. This academic foundation continues to inform her thoughtful, layered approach to design.
Prior to launching her design career, Nancy spent 15 years in the entertainment industry, working with leading media companies including USA Networks, Discovery Communications, 20th Century Fox and Saban International, and The Walt Disney Company. This experience sharpened her skills in collaboration and managing complex, high-level projects – perspectives she now brings seamlessly into her design work.
Nancy later completed the Professional Level Program in Interior Design at the University of California, Los Angeles, and apprenticed with renowned designers Michael S. Smith and Mary McDonald. These formative experiences provided invaluable exposure to refined residential design and instilled a rigorous attention to detail, craftsmanship, and timeless style.
In 2010, Nancy founded Nancy Isaacs Interior Design, a full-service interior design firm specializing in creating stylish and comfortable homes that balance sophistication with livability. Her work reflects a respect for context, an appreciation for enduring design, and a collaborative process tailored to each client.
Beyond her professional practice, Nancy is deeply committed to community involvement and has been meaningfully engaged with Jewish Big Brothers and Sisters, United Friends of the Children, and AIPAC – organizations that reflect her belief in mentorship, connection, and giving back.
