Patricia Finkel

Patricia Roach Finkel was born and raised in Beverly Hills,
California, where she attended Beverly Hills High School before going
on to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Arts at the University of
Southern California. Although Patricia’s academic focus was in the
fine arts, she grew up in a family deeply connected to real estate—her
father was an industrial and commercial real estate developer, which
fostered her lifelong fascination with buildings, homes, and design.
Drawn to both the business and creative worlds, she describes herself
as having a “left-brain and right-brain balance.” After graduation, she
chose to pursue the analytical and business side of her nature by
entering the world of residential real estate in 1975, a career she
would build with great success over the next number of decades as a
top multi-million dollar producer, specializing in high-end real estate
and marketing properties from Beverly Hills to Malibu.

Initially a painter, Patricia soon shifted her focus to sculpture,
working primarily in cast bronze. Her work—characterized by
biomorphic and anthropomorphic forms that merge artistry with
function—has earned recognition for its sensual, undulating rhythm
and timeless presence. Her pieces have been featured in significant
projects around the world and have been frequently published in many
prestigious publications, including Architectural Digest, Elle Decor,
Town & Country, Veranda, and Belle magazine. Patricia’s work is
exhibited at Holly Hunt showrooms throughout the United States and
at Galerie Carole Decombe in Paris, where her bronzes reach an
international audience.

In addition to her professional life, Patricia has been deeply
engaged in philanthropy. She is a past division chair of the Jewish
Federation of Los Angeles and has been a patron of the Israel
Museum for many years, where she served as a dinner co-chair for
two consecutive years at the museum’s annual gala event. Patricia is
also deeply passionate about animal rescue. As a longtime board
member of the Lange Foundation, she not only contributes her
leadership but also actively engages in fundraising to support the
rescue and rehabilitation of animals in Los Angeles city shelters,
helping to save countless lives of animals in need.

Patricia shares her life with her partner, Richard Shapiro, with whom
she has enjoyed more than two decades of shared interests and world
travel. She is also the proud mother of her son, David, who holds a
master’s degree in Public Health from USC and has established his
career in the field of nutritional health and wellness
