Sophia Diop

Sophia is a highly accomplished individual born and raised in Africa, with fluent French language skills and other languages. She is pursuing the Doctor of Philosophy in Global Leadership and Change program. She has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Finance, a Master of Art (MA) in Organizational Leadership, a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Business and Economics with a minor in International Relations, where she led the student government and the speech club, and a consulting certificate from Harvard University.

Sophia has gained extensive professional experience in various fields, including Information Technology, Audit, Tax and Accounting, Consultant, forensic accounting intern, Forensics, and Operations management. Currently, she works in Technology

Sophia has also completed various certificates and awards, including the Worldchefs World Association of Chefs’ Societies Chef Certificate, IRS VITA Certified Tax Preparer and National Institute of Health Protecting Human Research Participants Certificate. She possesses leadership skills such as Responsibility, Relator, Achiever, Intellection, and Futuristic – Gallup Strengths Finder 2.0, and is known for her creativity, detail-oriented, flexible, and critical thinking skills.

In her personal life, she loves to travel and practice sports like soccer, horseback riding, boxing, golf, basketball, Tai-chi, swimming, and tennis. She also enjoys watching football.

She was awarded some certificates for volunteering with Children of Africa, the Panorama City Chamber of Commerce, the California Senate, and the county of Los Angeles.
