Alison is a hands-on farmer, and part of a small cadre of winery owners in the West Sonoma Coast AV producing Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah and Pinot Rose’.
Her career started in NYCity in graphics and film production. She took class at the Art Students League as an avocation, and has kept her hand in figure drawing and painting, since she was at Art Center in LA, as a scholarship student. She attended California Polytechnice Univ, SLO in Graphics.
Alison was a founding board member of PSArts.org and theBroadStage.org. Chairing Development for both. Conservation interests, lead to LAConservancy (00-04) and currently the Getty Conservation Institute Council, where she travels and supports work of the GCI. She’s collected photography for a decade plus, working with the Getty Photo department on acquisitions and supporting exhibitions. Supporting arts education for children is important to her. Mentoring young women is the critical work of our time, and she is happy to be involved with this mission work with Visionary Women, and her friend Angella Nazarian.
