Dr. Anita Patel
Dr. Anita Patel is a board certified Plastic Surgeon in solo private practice in Beverly Hills. She has been featured in numerous TV segments on CBS and VH1, interviewed for online beauty articles by Refinery29 and Byrdie Beauty, and been a regularly invited speaker at plastic surgery meetings around the world. She has also been an instructor of surgical "master courses" at the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery meetings. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons
Dr. Patel is best known for her meticulous tummy tucks, including beautifully crafted belly buttons, and her signature nonsurgical procedure: the Liquid Makeover. Her office is an oasis for all things beauty, with a comfortable, light, bright, and airy feel, and zen ambiance. She is a champion of beauty diversity, and beauty inclusivity, and believes we are not all meant to fit the same mold. Dr. Patel's ultimate practice philosophy is to use her skills to inspire, empower, and transform.
Prior to beginning her private practice in 2008, Dr. Patel completed 3 years of Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, and 4 years of General Surgery residency at Tulane University in New Orleans. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, and her bachelors degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. While plastic surgery residency brought her to sunny Los Angeles, the gorgeous weather was the reason she stayed. In her off time, she is passionate about fitness, travel, and spending time with friends and family.
