Anne Cohen Ruderman

Anne Cohen Ruderman has been an art advisor for over 25 years and owns Quality Art Consulting, an art advisory firm.

Formerly a gallery owner of D and A Fine Arts, Anne decided to emphasize art consulting – specializing in purchase, sale, commission, and installation of contemporary art, ceramics, studio glass, and photography, as well as advising on placement, lighting and art collections.  Anne’s thirty years of friendships with established and emerging artists, museum curators, auction houses, and gallery owners in the modern art, photography, glass, and ceramic fields have led to her unparalleled commitment to contemporary art.

Anne is a longtime member of the Getty Photography Acquisition Council, the Board of Roski School of Art at USC, and a longtime Trustee of Pilchuck Glass School Board in Washington State.  She is a former member of the Museum of Contemporary Art’s (MOCA) Photography and Acquisition Councils and the Otis School Board of Governors.  Anne has also volunteered her time to travel and coordinate fine art tours that have taken collectors to various cities throughout the United States and Europe.

Anne is also the Founding Chairperson of Glass Alliance of Los Angeles, a charitable non-profit organization that continues to thrive since its inception in 1994. GALA’s main mission is furthering art education – not only to its members and the public at large but also by providing students with scholarships to various glass institutions and universities. GALA also raises funds for exhibits and institutions that support contemporary art glass and ceramics. A prime example of their endeavors is the Glass: Material Matters exhibit at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, where GALA was a major financial supporter.

Anne holds a degree in art and art history from Woodbury College of the Arts, and a B.A. in psychology from UCLA.
