Nancy Ellin
Nancy Ellin is a former New Yorker who relocated to Los Angeles with her family 12 Years ago. She is a residential real estate agent at Coldwell Banker,Beverly Hills. Nancy has created a niche in her real estate business having combined her inter- connections from the east coast and her personal experience having moved across the country. Many of her clients come to her as re-locaters as well. She dedicates a large part of her time to being actively involved with philanthropy and school boards. Nancy is an active Board of Governors member at Cedar Sinai Medical Center, and sits on the membership and young governors committees. She is a top fundraiser for the Hirschberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer ,where she has consistently been #1 in individual fundraising. The money she raised last year went towards a seed grant at UCLA funding a doctor researching early detection for pancreatic cancer. Nancy is also on the Women’s Cancer Research Institute and the Sports Spectacular Women’s Luncheon-Genetic Institute advisory boards at Cedar Sinai Medical Center. Additionally,Nancy co-founded the Pals Committee of Gilda’s Club, NYC.
Nancy has 3 children., Alec (21) ,Jessi (19) and Tabitha (14). Nancy enjoys the non- stop juggle between her family,work and philanthropy. Additionally to her multitude of charity work, Nancy is presently actively involved at the Brentwood School. She has served as class Rep for multiple grade levels. For the last 8 years to the present she has been involved in the admissions office as a Brentwood tour guide for perspective families. All of her children attended the John Thomas Dye School , where she was actively involved on the PA and served on many committees and fundraising. Previously to moving to LA ,her children attended Horace Mann School in NYC and she was a leader in their Annual Fund.
While work, family and philanthropy are her primary focus, Nancy is an avid excersizer. She enjoys running, spinning and yoga. Additionally, Nancy loves to travel and frequent the theatre. She is a former child actress. For several years after college Nancy was a production manager and producer of TV commercials.
