Having graduated from Tufts University and Fordham Law School, Nina was a corporate litigator in New York before moving to Los Angeles to practice entertainment law. While raising her children, Nina joined the Huffington Post, first writing the column "Love and the Law,” then crafting celebrity interviews and finally, becoming a contributing editor on the site.
A board member of the Cedars Sinai Women’s Guild, supporting women’s health, for over 20 years, and a former board member of Planned Parenthood LA and Equality Now, Nina has long been an advocate for the rights of women and girls. Most recently, Nina has taken on the role of President of the non-profit Visionary Women, a unique non profit community focused on engaging conversations with innovative leaders and funding high impact initiatives for women and girls.
The oldest of four girls and the mother of three girls, Nina is committed to enriching and building community among women. Daughter Grace, a Brown University graduate studied applied math and computer science and works in private equity funding innovative tech start-ups which seek to close the gender gap in technology. Daughter Audrey is a recent graduate of Duke University where she studied public policy and is headed to work in government in Washington DC. And Nina’s youngest daughter Emily is a student at the University of Michigan studying sports management, serving on a teen board for a worldwide development charity and youth empowerment movement.
Nina's interests away from her family and her board work include tennis, contemporary art, reading, travel and supporting all the women around her.
