Pamela Orwin Mohn

Pamela Orwin Mohn was born and raised in southern Kentucky in the foot hills of Appalachia where her family still resides. She attended Morehead State University as an undergraduate and then to Western Michigan University and University of Kentucky for graduate studies in School/Child Psychology. Pamlela supported herself in these academic years as a bartender.

After graduate school, she worked for a number of years as a psychologist in rural Kentucky. It was during that time that she met and married Jarl Mohn and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where their first child, Katrina, was born. Then on to Westport, Connecticut and to Los Angeles, California where their youngest daughter, Larkin was born. Happily the Mohns have made Los Angeles their home for the past twenty-six years.

Pamela has been on the board of Wonder of Reading, active in Everychild Foundation and on the advisory council of International Medical Corp. She is an avid reader and book group participant, enjoys hiking, is an enthusiastic if not terrible tennis player and still can make a mean martini.
