Sheila Yafai Bolour
Dr. Sheila Yafai Bolour trained in Internal Medicine and Women's Health at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after receiving her undergraduate degree in (Third World) Development Studies from UCLA and her M.D. from the Keck School of Medicine at USC. She served as the Assistant Director of the Women's Health Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for 3 years before starting a private practice in the Beverly Hills area. Dr. Bolour was well respected lecturer on Women's Health topics during her years at Cedars-Sinai and was involved with research on testosterone replacement therapy for women's sexual dysfunction.
In the past few years, Dr. Bolour has been a Clinical Instructor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She has also served on the Boards of the Concern Foundation and the Neuromuscular Disease Foundation (NDF). In 2014, she chaired the NDF Gala held at the Beverly Hills Hotel. In 2016, Dr. Bolour became active in AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee). She is currently an active member of the organization as a member of the Women in Politics (WIP) Program (LA chapter) and the New Leadership Network (NLN) of AIPAC. She has three children in elementary school at Sinai Akiba Academy and is an involved parent at her children's school. Sheila enjoys traveling, reading and the arts.
