Artist, Designer, Philanthropist and Producer
Trina Venit is an Artist, Designer, Philanthropist and Producer. She has cultivated such projects as Curious Cures for the Travel Channel,along side producing partner, Bizarre Foods host, Andrew Zimmern. A show that takes the audience around the world while they capture the essence of rituals, and other customs and cultures that have developed interesting cures that ail and plague us all. She also produced the documentary, Aroused which is a behind-the-scenes look at America’s highest paid female porn stars. She has produced a fictional audio book for young readers called "Anomalies". In the past she help launch a homemade, home delivered, baby food company, Bohemian Baby centering on seasonal eating completely non gmo and kosher. In her earliest days, she had a junior fashion line that was sold to Nordstroms to and Macy's under her maiden name, Trina Young. Prior to all of this she was a special FX makeup artist, and what initially brought her to Hollywood from Arizona where she grew up in her adolescent years. This move to Los Angeles eventually led her to meeting her husband, talent agent, Adam Venit in 1997. They have been married for 18years.
Alongside producing, Trina is tapped in to the LA Art scene with excellent relationships around town and a constant thirst to expand her network and her own personal collection which can be seen up at her home that she designed in Beverly Hills. It's been published in Luxury magazine, and will be in the Hollywood Reporter Home Edition this month. Trina is currently taking voice lessons, learning the guitar and learning French, She had a spiritual kundalini awakening 2 years ago that turned everything upside down and has led her to a more enlightened path. She practices daily meditation and always looking for ways to grow and learn something new. The main mantra that has served her well in life is "Jump and the net will appear.The universe won't let you down if you make hard choices for the right reasons."
She attempts to balance her professional life with her busy personal life raising five children. Two of whom have graduated University of Michigan and the other at USF. However, her daughter Sarah is continuing her education by attending law school at Hastings with an interest for child advocacy. Her other daughter, Madison, is currently attending FIDM with an interest in fashion after graduating USF and doing fund raising for the hospital, Her son Michael is working in football operations for the Los Angeles Rams. Her son, Matthew, is the youngest certified DJ in the world at the age of 12 and producing his own music at 13. Olivia is a classically trained pianist along with may other academic talents and a world class soccer player. The two youngest are still at home with Trina and her husband Adam, who is a Founder,Board Member and Head of the Motion Picture Department at WME. They are on many philanthropic committees such as; Board of Governors at Cedars Sinai Hospital, Los Angeles Children's Hospital, Windward Steering Committee and Leadership Fundraising, The Los Angeles Police Foundation for fallen officers which support surviving family members, and on the Board of Directors for UCLA school of Communications. She is also a member of PETA and supports the arts such as the Silver Lake Music Conservatory for underprivileged children.
